Escape to the cooler climes of the Atherton Tablelands and enjoy an intimate wildlife experience in a natural setting at the Atherton Birds of Prey Show.
You will be amazed at just how close you can get to Australia's awesome aerial predators. See owls, falcons and eagles flying free - the sky's the limit! Learn about their everyday and unusual behaviours, and the local environments in which they live. Mark's interactive presentation allows visitors to be a part of the show, not just part of the audience. He always has a spare glove in his pocket and is more than happy for you to have a go at being hands-on. Meet other fascinating Australian animals after the show, such as Bob the Estuarine Crocodile and Macca the Spotted-tailed Quoll.
Educational and entertaining, the show inspires young and old about our natural world. It is an experience the whole family can enjoy!

After the show experience the thrill of holding Australia's largest bird of prey - the magnificent Wedge-tailed Eagle!

One-on-one eagle encounters:
Spend a magical half hour with a mighty Wedge-tailed Eagle - just you, Mark, the eagle and the sky.
Go for a walk with Mark while the eagle soars, learn more about Australia's largest raptor, call the eagle to your glove, and take photos along the way.

Location:
The Atherton Birds of Prey show is presented at the historical Atherton Chinatown on the beautiful Atherton Tablelands / Cairns Highlands (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes west of Cairns.)
From Atherton, drive south towards Herberton. Approximately 1km on your left is the Atherton Chinatown.
